“It’s GREAT to finally be in touch with you. Kevin and I both adore your stuff! I found your services through a round-about series of link-following, beginning my quest for the perfect photography team which dropped me right in the puddle of sunshine that was Cori & Rollie’s wedding. THEN I discovered your site and your work with portraits, your adorable kids and creative style (I loved the fun with the magnifying glass). So that’s how I came to finding you!
A little about us and our wedding plans: Kevin and I both grew up in the same hometown in southeastern PA. We started dating a few years out of college…and now we both live in Boston. Because of our Pennsylvania roots, we’re planning to be married back home in Fall 2010. This past weekend we road-tripped home with ambitious plans to see 4-5 venues and actually book one, so that we’d be returning home Sunday with a date set. That said, we’re EXHAUSTED! But, we did find a place…and set a date…..We are looking to hire you for October 16th, 2010, for a ceremony & reception taking place at the Audubon Society & Bird Sanctuary in Audubon, PA.
Our vision: We’re going for “upscale backyard”…. our venue is somewhat wooded, and we’re planning a late afternoon/early evening ceremony with pictures around sunset and reception following under a wooden pavilion, with a rustic fall BBQ feel. I come from a Greek family so our wedding will be packed with a lot of crazy Greeks who only get together for weddings and funerals. So, we’re looking to capture in photos our happiness in the presence of our guests paired with the nature around us: Sun shining through trees on smiling faces….. one of our many little cousins making s’mores by the stone fireplace once the sun goes down…… two crazy uncles trying to eat grilled corn-on the cob while not messing up their suits….. This is what we’re going for! Based on your portfolio of work, I think the two of you perfectly embody the style we’re hoping to capture in wedding photography. I would love to chat live with you as soon as you’re free! (And hopefully nobody has snatched you up yet for 10/16/10.) Can’t wait to hear from you.”
