it was a little out of the norm when eileen, the brides mom first called us to discuss our availability to photograph her daughters wedding in ocean city, nj. she explained to us that the ceremony was being held out on the dock overlooking the bay with just the newlyweds closest friends and family on a wednesday afternoon. it’s unique details like those that made jenn+ron’s wedding all that much more intriguing for us to document.
interestingly enough, jenn+ron met one another out in california even though they both went to the same high school and grew up within walking distance from each other here on the east coast. it’s funny to think about how many times in their childhood they may have been in the same place together and not even realized they were next to their future spouse. their wedding day was simple, intimate, modern and truly represented the two of them as a couple together. lauren and i were so excited to have been the chosen wedding photographers for their day and we had the best time meeting jenn+ron and hearing about their relationship together.
