most of our wedding couples will ask us to shoot their engagement portraits in beautiful areas like the beach, lakes, parks, etc. to be perfectly honest, our favorite location to shoot is always one that reflects the couple and a place where they both feel comfortable together. the ideal location could be a first date spot, the downtown streets, or something as unusual as a laundry mat. for jenna+guy, their ideal location was a historic house in northfield, nj that they just purchased together. as the house stands now it looks like it’s pretty much hanging on for dear life, but they will be renovating this gem to it’s original beauty over the next year or so. these two love birds realized how special this project is going to be for them as they start their lives together and we think it was a perfect choice for their engagement session. the whole lifestyle shoot took place inside the deserted house and the yard which graced us with gorgeous afternoon light.
