raccoons & a one eyed turtle | jaime+brandon

lauren and i were super excited when jaime told us she wanted us to photograph her engagement session at the renault winery in egg harbor city, nj. we have never been there before and we were really looking forward to seeing it for ourselves after hearing all the wonderful things about the grounds of the winery. the renault winery did not disappoint – neither did our amazing couple. while photographing jaime+brandon we ran into a momma raccoon with her babies that scared lauren half to death and a cute little one eyed turtle crossing the path. i named the turtle “willie”. (: enjoy.

i’m starting to think that beautiful weather just might follow mairin+joe everywhere they go. remember the awesome fall colors from their engagement session in old city philadelphia last year: check it out here: old city, philly engagement their wedding day at the tides estate in north haledon, nj turned out perfect as well. lauren and i had an absolute blast hanging out with the happy couple and their family & friends the entire day. we can’t wait to hear about their honeymoon, i’m sure the weather was awesome. the ceremony was held at saint anastasia church in teaneck, nj. from the church we headed over to the tides estate for pictures and the reception celebration. lauren and i followed behind mairin+joe as they did it up big time in their classic white rolls royce.

hangin’ with peacocks | jamie+tony

this post includes some of our favorite images from jamie+tony’s “rock the dress” session that we recently photographed at the stunning grounds for sculpture in hamilton, nj. if you’re not quite sure what a “rock the dress” session is, let me explain. a rock the dress photo session is basically another opportunity for our couples to get some additional portraits sometime after their actual wedding day. since this photo shoot happens post wedding our brides & grooms can be a little more daring and experimental throughout the session, they no longer have to worry about getting their wedding attire dirty or being pressured by the restrictions of their wedding day timeline.

this shoot was an epic combination for us. jamie+tony are on the top of the list as one of our favorite wedding couples and grounds for sculpture is our favorite place ever. lauren and i were married at the nine muses located within the park of grounds for sculpture. this was our first time back since our wedding and it is still as beautiful as we will always remember it. you owe it to yourself to check it out in person one day. they even have a very cool restaurant in the park called rat’s. enjoy.

Grounds For Sculpture Engagement Proposal Hamilton New Jersey | Dinofa Photography | South Jersey Weddings - [...] remember jamie+tony’s “rock the dress” session that we recently photographed at the gorgeous grounds for sculpture in hamilton, nj. well, what i forgot to mention in that post was that while we were setting up a new shot for them i caught a glimpse out of the corner of my eye of a happy couple up on the hill behind us. my first thought was “oh cool, look how awesome the light is hitting those two over there – that should be our next location we go for some more photos.” i picked up my camera, aimed it at the cute couple to get an exposure reading of the scene and that’s when it happened. at the exact second i shot my first frame this guy began his engagement proposal to his girlfriend. it was really one of those rare moments in life that you can’t believe just happened in front of you. i made sure to snag the glowing bride-to-be’s email address so she can relive that moment again through these images. i hope they enjoy them as much as i did capturing them.
