we think it’s great when the bride gets ready for her wedding day in the house where she spent her childhood. it was awesome hearing stephanie and her sister heather reminisce about sharing a bedroom as kids while they were preparing for the wedding. it’s also interesting to discover the old photographs on the walls that mom and dad proudly display of the special events in the kids lives, knowing that the images we are taking during that day will be cherished by family for a lifetime.
last summer, we photographed steph+brian’s engagement session at the bay in somers point, nj where i spent my childhood days. we all had such an awesome time together that we knew the wedding day at the carriage house was going to be a smash hit. we were not mistaken. our favorite dj in the business, matt blank from synergetic sounds, kept the party rocking the entire night. both steph+brian did not miss dancing to one song on the dance floor… true rockstars!
