Our Family Shoot

our family decided that we can’t let everyone else have all the fun when it comes to photographic memories.  so we took the whole family out for a little adventure around town and switched from being behind the camera to being in front of it.  we had soooooo much fun running back and forth to get into position trying to beat the timer before it would snap.  seriously, i’m kinda surprised we were able to capture any usable images when dealing with a 5 year old, 4 month old baby, a doggie that is as excited as a tornado, and two goof balls as parents.  below are some of my favs from the session.

Here Comes The Sonny

i don’t think i could have been more excited when i got the phone call to do a photo session with sonny.  my face immediately lit up with a huge grin and i started doing spinning fist pumps and high fives with lauren.  i just love dogs. small dogs, medium dogs, big dogs, cute dogs, and ugly dogs.  but dogs with a sense of character are my absolute favorite…  my boy sonny is just oozing with character, maybe it’s those long floppy ears, that gigantic tongue, or maybe, just maybe it’s the sense that sonny can read your mind and see into your soul when you make eye contact with him.  i hope sonny could tell how much i adored him from our little time spent together.  oh, and a huge thank you and props goes out to francesca for setting this photo session up.
